Start of the new year.

I was talking with my friend about how we used to love in elementary school and middle how the beginning of the school year usually started on a Thursday, which meant that you could pretend that you had more clothes than you actually had. Then they ruined it for us all starting school on a Monday!! They knew us poor folk needed to pretend we had money! Boy was I poor, I only got new clothes in August(new school year) and December(Christmas) oh and we always had to get windbreakers and boots. Being poor is sad, but remember to be grateful for everything you have because somewhere there is someone worse off!
